The hotel has 79 rooms on 5 floors, all with different shapes because of the historic nature of the building. They are all decorated in contemporary style with warm colored fabrics in subdued blue, orange and red, dark wood furniture and old Dutch prints on the pale colored walls. Views are either over the Dam, the shopping street, or a quiet inner corridor. All rooms have high-speed Internet access, double-glazed windows, air conditioning, direct-dial speaker phone with voicemail, and smoke detectors. The white tiled bathrooms have pink granite sinks, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries. There’s an ironing room for guest use on the third floor.

De Roode Leeuw Restaurant - Famous for its traditional Dutch cuisine representing all of the regions in Holland, the De Roode Leeuw is popular with visitors and locals alike. The historic dining room is decorated with wooden ceiling beams, dark wood paneled walls and Dutch antiques. Open daily for lunch and dinner, as well as a breakfast buffet. De Roode Leeuw Brasserie - Overlooking the busy Damrak street, this sunny brasserie terrace is open from late morning through early evening with a selection of drinks, Dutch snacks, pastries, and Dutch liqueurs.
